Two specimens were fished in an estuary of Reunion (river Saint Maurice) at the 19th century by Leschenault. But the species was never recaptured and the river was not even located. The two specimens were used for the description of the species by Valenciennes (Ref. 48660). Also Ref. 6802, 33390, 57749, 79840. |
